Frances Davis' Son Spends Summer Interning at ESPN


The son of Technical Analyst Frances Davis, Jamar Davis, will be interning with ESPN in Bristol, CT this summer. He will be a member of the ESPN Domestic Studio Global Operations Group, where he could possible spend part of his summer in Europe. Jamar was selected from a possible 200 applicants across the country.

The purpose of the internship program is to build a pool of promising, diverse college students who have developed skills and knowledge within the ESPN environment, who can be tapped for full-time employment upon graduation. The program allows ESPN to assess an intern's performance and potential prior to converting considering their candidacy for a full-time offer. Students earn an hourly salary as well as housing assistance subsidy with ESPN provided housing in New York, NY and Bristol, CT.


Jamar is currently a senior at North Carolina A&T State University, where he will be receiving his Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Print Journalism this December.
